FSC
Brazil: Aracruz certification questioned by local organisations

The World Rainforest Movement has been requested by local organizations in Brazil to disseminate their reports on the FSC certification process of Aracruz Celulose (see WRM bulletin 26). Such request stems from the concerns of a large number of organizations in Brazil regarding this certification, who request all those involved in the FSC to closely monitor the process, in order to ensure that local concerns regarding social and environmental impacts are taken into account. For further information, please contact CIMI-ES (Conselho Indigenista Missionario) at the following email address: cimies@aranet.com.br

If you would like to receive these reports by e-mail on a regular basis please send a "Subscribe FSC" message to wrm@wrm.org.uy
