Documentary film produced by NUPOMAR, Núcleo de Pesquisa, Mídias e Arte, with the purpose of recording and valuing the social memory of the Pataxó Indigenous Peoples of Aldeia Barra Velha (in the municipality of Porto Seguro-Bahia), Brazil.
Through testimonies, elders, youngsters and community leaders, share their memories about what is called "Fogo de 51", a violent conflict involving Indigenous People, the Brazilian State and society in the region, due to the disputes over possession of the indigenous territory of Monte Pascoal in the year 1951.
