We are making an open call to organisations, groups and movements to sign this letter in solidarity with the Puente Quemado II Mbya Guaraní community located in Misiones, Argentina. In recent months, families have faced deforestation, evictions, criminalisation and threats from security forces, judges and individuals–all serving the interests of the timber industry.

Llamamos a grupos y organizaciones a adherir a esta carta para exigir la urgente suspensión del desalojo de la comunidad Mbya Guaraní de su propio territorio, relevado mediante la Ley Nacional N° 26.160, y la inmediata liberación del mburuvicha (cacique) Santiago Ramos y todos los miembros de la comunidad detenidos por la Policía.
