How can movements make the strongest alliances for the needed changes? Where are the destructive, currently-dominant energy and finance regimes most vulnerable? Both inquiries can be helped by an understanding of how energy and finance have been constructed and contested over two centuries of stormy transformations in industry, livelihood and exploitation.
